Victor Manuel presented new perspectives on learning. Mashups for e-learning. Also he detailed the role of web-based tools in
the user’s learning experience and some challenges when it comes to the integration of these tools.
Also he exposed about the requirements of this integration from the user’s point of view.

Byron and Rocael presented a new application developed at Galileo University, built on top of Xowiki package.
They explained the problems that this new application solves; exposed some disadvantages of the old process (and tools involved )
used for content production and the advantages they get with the new production process.
Also, Byron explained some implementation details of this application. And at the end, they showed a quick demo.

Gustaf exposed some issues they faced regarding performance with OpenACS, and some improvements they made to the framework.
Gustaf also talked about improvements done to the Xowiki package. He also presented the idea of having a Dotlrn Portal System based in Xowiki.
